Is it the death trap of the Devil or the bounteous creation of God is dilemma to me,
But the truth I understand is that my puny self is alive and awestruck,
As I walk on the Hell below and the Heaven around me!' – Veteran Col RS Sidhu

Pakistani M47 Pattons crossing the Rohi Nullah after the engineers had improved the crossing site
"One of the greatest ironies of the 1965 War is the unjust criticism heaped on 1 Armoured Division after the War. The bitter truth of the 1965 War is that 1 Armoured Division was never fully employed either at Khem Karan or at Sialkot."(from History of the Indo-Pak War – 1965 by Lt. Gen. Mahmud Ahmed)

MYTHS AND FACTS ABOUT SIACHEN
By Amit K PalLonely Life of the Parents of a Martyred Son!
Last week, my hubby and I decided to visit an old friend of my dad living in Delhi. He is a retired officer from the Indian army. Very fine couple, well spoken, very well read and widely travelled! They had a son who they lost during the Kargil war, but they never show any trace of Pain on their face.
I was at the airport when a taxi driver approached. The first thing I noticed in the taxi was a sentence, which read: Are you a Duck or an Eagle? You decide.
The second thing I noticed was a clean and shiny cab, the driver well dressed, white shirt and pressed pants, with a tie. The taxi driver got out, opened the door for me and said: "I am John, your chauffeur. While I keep your luggage, I would like you to read on this card what my mission is.
On the card was written:-
