The Union Cabinet passed a resolution on 22 November last year to celebrate the historic occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji in a grand and befitting manner, throughout the country and across the globe. It includes opening of Kartarpur Corridor to connect the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Amritsar District (Punjab) with Darbar Sahib in Narowal district of Pakistan's Punjab province. Kartarpur Corridor will go operational for passengers on November 8 as scheduled as India and Pakistan signed the agreement on Thursday the 24th Oct 2019 to this effect. Its a glorious Alma Mater, of not only Signals but also of All Arms and Cadets as of today, training them into higher levels of technology absorption, based on operational necessities and emerging challenges of future wars.
