The ex army chief's address last month was a call to the govt for budgets and stop its hair brained schemes aimed at reducing manpower, salaries and pensions. Threats are on the rise. The armed forces need govt support not illogical measures.

My assessment

Addressing the Rashtriya Raksha University last month, the ex-army chief, General Naravane, stated, 'Whenever we talk about the armed forces, and whenever we talk about investments and expenditures made for the armed forces,

So this day in 1699, in a congregation of people from all across India...standing there listening to their Guru, Sree Gobind Rai. Gobind Rai ji asked for human sacrifice of five men one after the other. Five men from different castes from different parts of India stood up from the crowd of thousands.

Once upon a time we used to have officers in the army.

All officers rose to higher ranks, were good leaders, and were great Commanders. Whatever rank they rose up to, Majors, Colonels or Generals, they continued to be OFFICERS not only till the end of their careers, but till the end of their lives. The ladies were saluted, a young couple would be feasted by the Colonel as he would a General, a Brigadier would hold the door of the car open for a young Army Wife. They were Gentleman-first.

इस स्थिति का सामना करने के लिये लोगों ने *तरह-तरह के उपाय और तरीक़ों को ईजा़द किया है।* कुछ कर्मठ ब्रान्ड के लोग तुरंत *रामू काका* के रोल में आ जाते हैं और सबेरे से उठ कर *कंधे पर तौलिया लटका कर घर की साफ़ सफ़ाई और किचेन के ज़रूरी कामों को निबटाने में जुट जाते हैं।*
