Dear Sirs, 
I watched with interest, the arguments of three of our Veterans, Lt General Syed Hasnain, Col Ajai Shukla and Col Amardeep, as also an ex bureaucrat,Shri CM Vasudev. I will focus on correcting what has been said in the first instance and then suggest a Way Ahead on this issue.All three of our Veterans spoke so well,however there are some issues that need to be carefully considered.

Does Venezuela not even have a few cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats to graze and provide meat to its starving population?

Worth reading for all officers who take pride in being gentlemen. The term turnout describes the manner in which a person dresses and presents himself. 'Shabby turnout produces shabby behavior' is an old military dictum.

It will be in order to recall an incident that happened at a major military training academy a few years ago. Conduct of the officers at a social function was found to be highly unacceptable. A group of inebriated officers threw beer bottles in the swimming pool and monopolized the dance floor with whiskey glasses in hands. Fearing misbehavior, all ladies walked off the floor.

As Balakot surgical strike is going to be alive, at least till elections are around, I am unable to escape from reading social media posts about it from some of the smartest people of my nation.Though I am not in a position to accept or deny existence or success/failure of surgical strike with cent percent certainty, this episode has made me sure about something else. I am absolutely sure that no nation on the planet is as keen or desperate to fail as the country called India.
